How does the plant treat wastewater?
We utilize a process which includes primary settling and biological treatment to ensure wastewater meets strict environmental standards before discharge.

Who do I call if my sewer backs up?
You must call a plumber or sewer cleaning company for emergency services. The sewer lateral is part of the building and it is the property owner's responsibility to protect the building. If it is determined a back up has been caused by a sewer main blockage in the street the Authority must be informed by the plumbing service.

Are there any environmental risks?
Our facility is designed with multiple safety barriers and continuous monitoring systems to prevent any accidental release of treated water into the surrounding environment.
